In a newly published interview recorded shortly before her passing, the renowned primatologist disclosed her unusual solution for handling particular figures she viewed as exhibiting similar traits: launching them on a non-return journey into space.

"There are individuals I don't like, and I want to send them on a spacecraft and send them all off to the world he's convinced he's going to discover," remarked Goodall during her discussion with Brad Falchuk.

"And then I would include the Russian president in there, and I would include Xi Jinping. Without question I would add the Israeli leader in there and his political allies. Send them all on that spaceship and send them off."

"Primates encounter a stranger from an adjacent group, and they get very stimulated, and their hair erect, and they reach out and contact each other, and they've got these faces of anger and fear, and it transmits, and the rest catch that feeling that this one male has had, and they all become hostile," she explained.

"It spreads rapidly," she continued. "Certain displays that grow violent, it spreads among them. Everyone desires to get involved and grow hostile. They're protecting their domain or battling for control."

When asked if she believed the same patterns occurred in human beings, Goodall responded: "Perhaps, on occasion. But I truly believe that the bulk of humanity are good."

"My primary aspiration is nurturing this new generation of empathetic people, foundations and growth. But do we have time? It's unclear. We face challenging circumstances."

Goodall, a London native shortly before the commencement of the World War II, likened the fight against the difficulties of present day politics to England opposing Nazi Germany, and the "spirit of obstinance" displayed by the prime minister.

"This doesn't imply you avoid having times of despair, but subsequently you recover and declare, 'Alright, I'm not going to permit their victory'," she commented.
